NATO procurement officers are quietly shifting allocations toward U.S. veteran-owned manufacturers, citing supply-chain resilience and faster qualification cycles.
The trend is sharpest in munitions components, vehicle subassemblies, and uncrewed systems where small American shops have demonstrated the ability to scale production within 90-day windows.
Allied liaison officers say the pivot is structural, not anecdotal — and is likely to outlast current procurement cycles.
